Edited on 17th July::
Well, I was mistaken about the internship, It turned to be a technical one.. not pure technical, but that is wt makes it interesting.. MS working environment is more than gr8 & I'm enjoying wt I do esp the new people I got to know there..
That's all..
---------------------------------------------------------

Well, during exams I was told by a friend of mine that MS egypt is finally making its first internship to accept trainees, I applied & was expecting an assessment test by 14/6.. later on it was postponed to 24/6 & I was told that the test is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (total of 8 hrs!!!)..

Anyway, on 24/6 I went to MS in smart village & when I entered there were another 14 from AUC & AAST.. & then we were told to enter a room for the test... & here was the shock, They told us that the test is not related to programming, it will be a self-evaluation test!! ... at first we didn't get why.. then they told us that the internship is a non-technical one.. some of us discussed that with the person responsible for this & finally she told him sth like "in case u are accepted, you can go through another coding test to see if u can join the development team or not but still I'm not sure about this"... anyway, we started the assessment test, The assessment test was a practical one & according to ur actions in each activity, u r evaluated... They wanted to see how good u r in presentation skills, self-confidence, team work.. etc..
Well, It was really so FUN (I admit) .. but this is not why I went to MS Egypt !!

Anyway, Today I received a mail that I was selected from those who are granted the internship.. & I am still really so confused.. To go or not to go !??
I'm sure it will be a gr8 personal experience, but it has nth to do with our profession..

I dunno really.. Should I go or not !?

WPF Forms <---> Win32 Forms

As WPF becomes more and more popular nowadays, many people face the problem where they want to embed WPF pages in ordinary pages made in ordinary Win32 pages. Many reasons are there which make developers forced to think about it. Developers want to benefit from the extraordinary WPF benefits such as the flexible and amazing graphical user interface, ..etc. However, WPF can't do everything, as you can't for example create an extensibility project using WPF, you are still forced to use Win32 forms.

However, sometimes developers prefer using Win32 controls, because simply they are more than WPF controls. So here comes the need to embed Win32 forms in WPF forms.

These two walkthroughs are a very good reference for doing so, Thanks to MSDN

Traffic habbits in Egypt

Alsalam alikom wa ra7mat Allah wa barakatoh

Of course almost everybody used a car one day to go somewhere, whether you were driving or not.. you must have seen this:

You are driving on 60km/hr and someone crossing the street on the slowest possible speed he can, then, he turns his head, look at your eyes (if you are the driver) then just continue his way on the same boring speed... like if he is saying "huh, you will never try to hit me..."... what is that he is doing!!!

At first, when I started to drive, I was just getting mad at them... and one of those times, I stopped the car, and shouted at that man... he turned over and said "Oh, sorry, didn't notice" DIDN'T NOTICE!!!!

I believe this problem is not only about traffic... I mean, the main source of this strange actions is that bad mood people are living now, depression if I can call it so... they are not feeling excited about anything... (I'm not referring to those who are excited about their football team winning or whatever) but you know that excitement about the future, you want to be in a better position after a few months, you want to have a company within few year, you want to go to the paradise when you die... without that excitement, we are living like mm animals that all what they care about is what to eat today, where to sleep... that's it.. maybe animals are doing something better, they are repeating Allah names thousands of times per day...

We can change this.... let's plan for it:
You don't like what is happening to your nation ?
I guess you also don't like what is happening to your country?
What about your family?
What about yourself? are you satisfied about yourself?

It's easier to do it backwards than trying to suddenly change the universe!!
Start by yourself, do find a goal for your life, and don't do like those who say "Oh, of course I've a big goal for my life, I want to go to the paradise". Ask them one question "Do you have it written somewhere?", I can assure you, you will find 95% of them will say "No."....
A written goal is something will you will work for, your mind will always remember it before doing any action...

Of course everybody knows about Sony's Mission "Change the world opinion about Jabanise electronics"... every meeting they hold, they write this mission on a whiteboard, and before anybody suggests anything, he look back to the whiteboard to confirm that he's on the right way...

Think of a goal, write it down, work for it...
Maybe one day, we will find people hurrying up a little bit !!
